The Taraba State Civil Service has witnessed a major shake-up with the appointment of 5 new Permanent Secretaries and the redeployment of others.
Government says the measure is to enhance utmost performance and directed that the appointments and redeployment be carried out with immediate effect.
The shakeup was contained in a statement issued by the Head of Service of the State, Mrs Suzy Nathan who also disclosed that date for the swearing-in of the officers shall be announced in due course.
The HoS also disclosed that government has approved the appointment of Mallam Musa Buba as the General Manager, Taraba State Water Supply Agency, Jalingo.
The Permanent Secretaries are; Governor’s Office, Chindo Audu, Deputy Governor’s Office, Babaji Dadin Kowa, Ministry of Land and Survey, Aboki Philip, Department of Protocol, Kabiru Marafa.
Others are: Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Bello Yero, Political and Cabinet Affairs, Sunday Tanko Maiyaki, Home Affairs, Special Service and Security, Yiase Dogari, while Career Management Office has Umar Abdul, Common Service IPPS/ICT Anthony Wakili, Civil Service Commission, Janet Shamaki and Local Government Service Commission, Lawan Yakubu.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has Bujujen Danjuma, Ministry of finance and Economic Development, Sale Kaka, Ministry of Works, Tanko Kitere and Samuel Lauya has been posted to Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development Ministry of Housing is Augustine Sholanko Ministry of Environment is Lawan Yakubu.
Shiita Yamusa however maintains Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Information and Re-orientation, Jerome Kamai, Ministry of Higher Education, Henry Lackbam Aleng, Water Resources, Isiaka Bashir, he is also to oversee the AFDB Project in Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, RUWASSA.
David Atenji, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Rural and Community Development has Danladi Ushiki Adamu, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Taki Zaku and Nuralga Dan Habu will continue in the Ministry of Special Duties and Humanitarian Services.
The rest are Garba Lawan, Ministry of Culture and Tourism Science and Technology, John Zakka, Urban and Town Development is also to be overseen by David Atenji, Ministry of Transport and Aviation, Tanko Kitere as well as Ministry of Budget and Planning, Sale Kaka, while House of Assembly Commission has Ibrahim Imam.
The statement by the Head of Service states that Dauda Moses will head Abuja Liaison Office.
