Benue people have been charged not to be afraid of the Federal Government which the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state is relying on to win the 2019 elections.
Governor Samuel Ortom gave the charge recently while addressing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters at a rally in Vandeikya Local Government Area of the state.
He explained that, the people of the state are the federal might, stressing that, nobody should intimidate them from doing the right thing by voting candidates of their choice.
The governor reaffirmed the commitment of his administration and PDP to continue to provide people-oriented governance, anchored on the fear of God, as well as ensure security of lives and properties among others.
Governor Ortom thanked the people of Kunav for their sustained support for his administration and appealed to them to vote all PDP candidates in this year’s elections.
In an address, the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Titus Uba assured the Governor and all PDP candidates of overwhelming support in the forthcoming general elections, adding that Vandeikya is the home of PDP.
